A word about Adam Levine
Fox News is evil. That’s the word. And this is a global problem, thanks to the reach of News Corp. In October, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine had this to say to Fox when it used the band’s music: “Dear Fox News, don’t play our music on your evil f***ing channel ever again. Thank you.” Superb.
The preceding month Levine was on the cover of Out, and in the article he talked about the video he made for the It Gets Better Project, advised parents of gay kids “you’ve just gotta embrace it from the beginning”, and was unequivocal about his support for equal marriage rights.
This week, talking about the Grammys to People magazine, Levine had this to say: “We used to go to this Mexican restaurant to celebrate after the Grammys but the place supported the movement to make gay marriage illegal so we bailed on that.”
